Leonard J. Moniz, Jr., Owner/Chief Executive Officer/Chairman

Built on the strong foundation of experience and a dedication to quality, Lenny founded Precision Concrete Construction, Inc. in 1986. Since Precision's inception, Lenny has guided the Company through its phenomenal growth, from a one truck place and finish operation to the current 40 million dollars in annual revenue. Soon after relocating to Atlanta in 1980 as a Fireman, Lenny returned to his family's roots as a third generation concrete professional and established his reputation as a craftsman who was determined to provide high quality work at an affordable price. With over twenty years of service in the trade, Lenny continues to set the pace as he leads Precision Concrete Construction, Inc. into its second decade as the Southeast's Premier "Total" Concrete Construction Company.

David H. Bradbury, Vice-President

Dave is a graduate of Georgia State University and has over thirty years of estimating, project management, and administrative experience in commercial and industrial construction with heavy concentration in the field of concrete construction. The past twenty years have been exclusively devoted to concrete construction in both the preparation and bidding of all major projects, along with the administration and coordination of selected projects.

Tracy L. Pierce, Chief Financial Officer

Tracy brings exceptional experience in accounting and financial management to the Precision team. He has a Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia and has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1987. Tracy has worked with numerous construction firms as a public accountant and has several years of experience as the controller of a multi-million dollar manufacturer of corrugated metal pipe products. Tracy joined the Precision team in 1994 and his financial experience and his knowledge of information technology have been a tremendous benefit to the company.

Robin L. Houghton, Director of Special Projects Group

Robin, a 1975 Architectural Engineering AS graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, MA, has been in commercial concrete construction for the last 30 years. The first 19 years were spent estimating, coordinating and managing numerous large commercial concrete projects in the greater Boston area and points north. Robin joined Precision in 1994 and has been performing similar duties on many projects in Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas. Robin has extensive background in structural concrete, architectural concrete and concrete restoration.

Greg Utterback, Director of Place and Finishing Group

Greg began his career in concrete in 1979 with A-1 Concrete in Tampa, FL. Within two years he was running place and finish crews on a variety of complex projects. Some of his Tampa projects included the Monte Carlo towers, the GTE Plaza, the Tampa International Airport, and the Barnett Tower. In 1985 Greg relocated to Atlanta and worked for Baker Construction as the Finisher Foreman on the IBM Tower project. Greg began working with Precision in 1986 as a place and finish Foreman. He has been the Field Operations Manager since 1990. In this position he functions as the liaison between the Superintendents and the place and finish crews to ensure proper scheduling. Greg has been involved in most of the major projects completed by Precision.

John Galasso Sr., Director of Field Services

From field engineering to heavy civil work, 50-story high rises to highway and road construction, John brings experience and expertise to Precision Concrete. Involved in heavy commercial concrete since 1968, John joined Precision in 1998 and has managed some of our largest projects to date, including Lucent Technologies and the Clayton County Justice Complex. As Director of Field Services, John currently oversees all daily operations of the turnkey division as well as act as the liaison between Preconstruction and General Construction groups.

Mike Deigaard, Cutting and Demolition Division Manager

After studies at the University of Georgia in Business Administration, Mike started in the commercial construction business with the Hardin Companies as a field engineer and assistant superintendent on multiple high-rise projects including Concourse V, Promenade, and the Georgian Terrace. Mike joined Precision Concrete in 1994 as a superintendent and completed several high-profile projects such as the Athens Civic Center, Woodruff Arts Center Renovations and the Malibu Grand Prix. In 1998, Mike started the Cutting & Demolition Division within Precision Concrete to further serve our clients needs by providing a total concrete demolition package that includes estimating, planning and managing any size concrete cutting and demolition project.

Mike A. Portwood, Repairs and Restoration Division Manager

Mike came to Precision 5 years ago after 20 years in the concrete business. In February, 2003, Mike became the manager of the restoration and repair under Special Projects. Some of the projects Mike has managed are the Phipps Plaza Parking Deck repairs, Sandestin Condo Repairs, 3280 Peachtree column repairs and Vistavia Hills repairs.

James Stimmel, Architectural Concrete Services Manager

After working in the masonry trade for 25 years, Jimmy became interested in decorative concrete and architectural finishes in the mid-80's. He came to Precision in 2002 to oversee on-site coordination of decorative concrete installations. He has extensive training and experience in stamped concrete, overlays, stains and underlayments. He is an ACI certified finisher/technician, Ardex Certified installer, L. M. Scofield certified installer and a HTC certified concrete polisher. He also has specialized training in micro topping and dyes. He currently manages the Architectural Concrete Services division of the Specialty Group. Recent projects include the Pittsburgh Mills Mall, Marta Five Points Station, GA Tech MS&E Hardscape, His Hands Church, Circle 75 Hardscape, Crate and Barrel locations in Cleveland and Columbus, OH, John's Creek Site Package, California Dreaming in Duluth and Myrtle Beach and Nordstrom in Atlanta and Richmond.

Chris Benifield, Project Manager

Chris graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. With experience in both residential and commercial construction Chris chose to work for Skanska "Beers". As a general contractor, Chris worked in both project administration and estimating on such projects as University Lofts, Boston Logan Airport Terminal A and the Tampa Airport Terminal E. In 2003 Chris joined Precision Concrete and has managed projects such as Orafol-USA, Corrosion Control Pain/Depaint Facility at Robins AFB, Lindbergh Plaza, Werner Enterprises and most recently the B14 expansion at the Kimberly-Clark facility in Augusta GA.

Matt Harvell, Project Manager

Upon graduating from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction & Contracting, Matt worked as a Project Engineer for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in Atlanta.  Gaining experience in the construction manager arena, he joined Precision in the summer of 2003 as an estimator and assistant project manager.  After learning the basics of subcontracting, Matt has become a project manager in the Turnkey Group.  Projects managed include Johns Creek Hospital, Printpack Corporate Office and Hewlett Packard Data Center Site 5 among others.

Ryan Galasso, Project Manager

Ryan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in December of 1999. Shortly after graduating, Ryan joined the Precision Concrete family as an assistant project manager. After one year of being an assistant to the more experienced managers, Ryan himself became a project manager, Since that time he has managed such projects as Lucent Technologies, Atlanta Exchange, Duracell, Coca-Cola, Six Flags roller coasters Déjà Vu and Superman - Ultimate Flight, and most recently Bobby Dodd Football Stadium.

Dan Carr, Project Manager

Dan graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and joined Precision in October of 2000 as an assistant project manager. After working under more experienced project managers, Dan learned the role of a project manager and began managing his own small projects. Since 2001, Dan has managed larger projects such as Russ Chandler Baseball Stadium, Printpack 2002, Free Chapel Worship Center, Woodruff Arts Center Architectural Walls, Fieldale Farms, Marathon Self Storage Tilt-up, and has most recently worked on several large concrete frame projects in the Atlanta area and throughout Florida.
